There we all were, looking spiffy, playing this amazing Harry Potter Clue game that Molly had found while looking for more Harry Potter books. (Not sure why she was looking on the game shelf...)
Addy was turning out to be really good at the game, at least in the beginning. Plus she looked so beautiful in that historical dress that I had to put her picture first!
Nellie is a laid-back player, just having fun and modeling the outfit Aighmi* found for her at a second-hand shop, though it seemed brand-new.
I was feeling very summery and cheerful, though I have to admit that I found the game a little bit confusing. There is so much going on in the game, and I've not yet read all of the Harry Potter books or seen the movies. (Please don't get upset!)
Molly was in her element, surrounded by her sisters, playing with and trying to explain all of the Harry Potter stuff, and wearing her usual outfit.
Suddenly, Nellie seemed to be focussed on something other than the game.
Addy was still completely engrossed in the game, and noticed nothing for a few moments. (As an aside, I do think the parts of the game are cool, like the die and the game board, even if I was totally baffled most of the time.)
Molly surprised us all, making an accusation and winning the game, right out from under Addy!
She was extremely excited!
Suddenly, Molly looked up and saw....Molly? This girl must have been what caught Nellie's eye while we were all still absorbed in the game. Our sweet Molly immediately ran over and gave new Molly (this is going to get as confusing as the game!) a giant hug! The rest of us wondered why this second Molly had appeared at all. I mean, why two Mollys? And what's with her hair?
I guess that will be a story for another post, one that the new Molly can explain for herself. Meanwhile, thanks for reading!
